I’ve had these things since highschool. I had no idea what they were for a long time. My mom is a nurse and suggested that it was a yeast allergy (candidiasis) which I thought was probably true since I seem to get them after drinking a lot of beer or eating bread products. My friend Matt called them “stink nuggets”. I was so relieved to find the wikipedia article. They haven’t been a terrible nuisance, but when they do show up I always have a weird fascination with them in wondering what the hell they are.

I have been suffering from these things for a while, I’m going to check out your remedy and see if it works, I get tonsil stones in my tonsils and in my throat, and they are very painful at times. One remedy that I did find on accident was oddly eating a twinkie….I know is sounds weird, but if the stone is not stuck then it somehow bonds to the food and gets dislodged. I ate one and lost three stones, not a cure but a good removal system. I started eating one once a week after that and it helps prevent further stones but not completely. My biggest problem though is if I get one so big it cannot come out with this process or with some other form.
